Its a genuine Portuguese word for "a feeling of nostalgic longing for something or someone that one was fond of and which is lost."
A feeling, I tried to describe in this piece (written in January 2008) inspired by some of Robert Doisneau photographs.

In This World

I was invited to compose a song for an album that brings together composers from across the globe.
This project called "Babel Sin Fronteras" is led by mexican musician Jorge Estrada and seeks to establish bonds of unity through music.
Nature, universe, war, loneliness, sadness and joy are some of the themes included on "In This World", the album which will be later
made available on the Internet for FREE download.
